Day 2 from Yo

Well, I made it home and much to my delight Michael's 3 aunts, nephew, and mom
came in from Dallas. We had sveral other visitors and phone calls and I so pleased to be back in the comfort of my home. I am having back pain as expected but I am recovering. I will not be at church tomorrow but know that I am thinking of my church members ( whom I love dearly) as well as my friends, neighbors and family.

  2. Yogi,

It was absolutely wonderful hearing your voice Sunday morning. I was so strenghten by your spirit. I am standing with you, believing and trusting (and assured) God has it ALL in control! One of my favorite scriptures states "Many are the plans of Man, but the Lord's purpose shall prevail over them all!" Because we trust him, we know that ALL things work together for the good of them who LOVE GOD and are called according to HIS purpose. Didn't say we would like it or that it would feel good to us, but it does assure us it WILL work out for us!!! You, Mike and the girls are in my prayers. I pray that as the Word says in your weakness, his strength is made perfect, and that all of you are able to rest in HIM.

I will do as requested regarding visitation and hope to see you over the holiday.

Thanks for blessing us with allowing us to walk through this journey with you. I look forward to following you through this Faith Journey, knowing God is WELL-ABLED to do exceedingly abudantly above ALL we can ask or think!

    Love you dearly! Kim Walker

  3. Yolanda, Mike, Kendra and Jasmine,

You guys are in my prayers daily. You are a blessing to the body of Christ and the Good Hope family and continue to be as you demonstrate what a Godly family looks like and how to trust God even when we don't understand why or what He's doing. I pray for your comfort, peace and continued healing Yolanda and I'm encouraged by your perspective on what healing really means. Mike, my Praise Team buddy :), you have been a live demonstration of what it means to be a supportive husband and I pray for your continued strength. Kendra and Jasmine, I pray that God will continue to be there for you in a way that only a God for all ages, including teenage girls, can be.

We (John and I) respect your request regarding visitors and understand the need for Yolanda to get plenty of rest and limit stress. When it's okay we'd like to come by to bring some things and pray with you. Thanks for creating the blog to keep everyone posted and we will continue to lift you in prayer. We're trusting God with you through the journey.

    Love you guys,

    Willa
